词条 | Heracleides (uncle) |
释义 |
There was a group in Syracuse at the time called the "Six Hundred Noblest" that was composed of the most influential citizens. Its leaders were Heracleides (Heraclides) and Sosistratus. Some scholars have suggested it possible that this Heracleides could be the same as Agathocles's uncle Heracleides, which would have implications for the common story of the low social station of Agathocles's family.[2] Notes1. ^Diodorus Siculus, Bibliotheca historica 19.2 {{DGRBM|author=EHB|title=Heracleides|volume=2|page=388|url=http://quod.lib.umich.edu/m/moa/acl3129.0002.001/398}}{{Authority control}}2. ^{{cite book | last=Tokarczuk | first=Ryszard | editor-last =Dąbrowa | editor-first =Edward | title =The Greek World in the 4th and 3rd Centuries BC | chapter = Internal Politics in Syracuse, 330-317 BC | publisher =Jagiellonian University Press | series =Electrum | volume =19 | date =2013 | pages =150, 153 | language =English | url =https://books.google.com/books?id=HYCIAgAAQBAJ& | isbn = 9788323334835 | accessdate=2016-04-12}} 2 : 4th-century BC Greek people|Ancient Syracusans |
