It is managed by the Kent Wildlife Trust.[1] This former refuse tip has a large mound which is the soil from the excavation of a railway tunnel. Habitats are grassland and scrub, and unusual flora include grass vetchling and dark mullein.[1] There is access by a track on the north side of the A21 opposite Sevenoaks Road, but the gate to the site is padlocked. {{commons category|Hewitt's Chalk Bank}}References1. ^1 {{cite web|url= http://www.kentwildlifetrust.org.uk/reserves/hewitts-chalk-bank |title= Hewitt's Chalk Bank |publisher= Kent Wildlife Trust |accessdate= 29 January 2018}} {{coord| 51.346| 0.124 |type:landmark_region:GB|display=title}}{{Kent Wildlife Trust }} 1 : Kent Wildlife Trust |
