From June 1813 to 1815 Forth came under the command of Captain Sir William Bolton in The Downs and later in the year off the Scheldt, with a spell under Sir Edward Codrington in 1814-1815. During service off North America in the War of 1812 under Captain Bolton, the American privateer brig Regent was captured on 19 Sep 1914 in Little Egg Harbor.[1][2] From February 1816 until July 1819 Forth came under the command of Admiral Sir John Louis, 2nd Baronet, after undergoing a refitting first as a flagship and subsequently as a fourth rate frigate at Chatham.[3][1] References1. ^1 2 {{cite web|url=https://threedecks.org/index.php?display_type=show_ship&id=4325|website=Threedecks|title=British Fifth Rate frigate 'Forth' (1813)|access-date=19 May 2018}} 2. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.history.navy.mil/our-collections/photography/numerical-list-of-images/nhhc-series/nh-series/USN-903000/USN-903319.html|title=USN 903319 American Privateer REGENT Captured by Boats from HMS FORTH, September 1814|website=Naval History and Heritage Command|access-date=19 May 2018}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.ageofnelson.org/MichaelPhillips/info.php?ref=0948|website=Michael Phillips' Ships of the Old Navy|title=Forth|access-date=19 May 2018}} Additional References
