HMS Harlequin was a 16-gun {{sclass-|Racer|brig-sloop}} built for the Royal Navy during the 1830s. DescriptionHarlequin had a length at the gundeck of {{convert|100|ft|6|in|m|1}} and {{convert|78|ft|10|in|m|1}} at the keel. She had a beam of {{convert|32|ft|6|in|m|1}}, a draught of {{convert|12|ft|6|in|m|1}} and a depth of hold of {{convert|15|ft|3|in|m|1}}. The ship's tonnage was 432 {{fraction|81|94}} tons burthen.[1] The Racer class was armed with a pair of 9-pounder (or 18-pounder) cannon and fourteen 32-pounder carronades.
