The Hobart Hurricanes WBBL team is a women's cricket team based in Hobart, Australia. It competes in the Twenty20 Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), under the same name and team colours as the Hobart Hurricanes team in the Big Bash League men's competition.[1]

One of eight founding teams in the league,[1] the WBBL team is coached by Julia Price,[2]

For the first two WBBL seasons, the team was captained by Heather Knight, also the captain of the England women's cricket team.[3] During WBBL|03, Knight has had to take a break from playing due to injury, and the team is captained by Corinne Hall.[4]
