Main St. in Earlington, Kentucky, dates from 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.[1] It is a two-story Italianate-style building, built in 1880 and serving as a house for Thomas McEuen until 1885. It was modified to serve as a hotel in the 1890s. It was deemed significant as the largest hotel in Earlington from its era, and as ""one of the few remaining structures associated with the early commerce of the town and [as] the only relatively unaltered 19th century hotel standing in the county."[2] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2013a}} {{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Kentucky-NRHP-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=88002725}}|title=National Register of Historic Places Registration: Hotel Earlington |publisher=National Park Service|author=Philip Thomason |date=July 28, 1988 |accessdate=February 18, 2019}} With {{NRHP url|id=88002725|photos=y|title=accompanying four photos}} 4 : Hotels in Kentucky|National Register of Historic Places in Hopkins County, Kentucky|Italianate architecture in Kentucky|Commercial buildings completed in 1890 |
