It has a fractional sloop rig, a raked stem, a slightly reverse transom, a transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller and a centerboard. It displaces {{convert|1250|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}}.[1] The boat has a draft of {{convert|4.50|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the centreboard extended and {{convert|0.58|ft|m|abbr=on}} with it retracted, allowing beaching or ground transportation on a trailer.[1] The boat is normally fitted with a small outboard motor for docking and maneuvering. The design features a self-bailing cockpit, built-in outboard engine mount, a portable toliet and a cooler.[3] The design has a hull speed of {{convert|5.12|kn|km/h|2|abbr=on}}.[5] See also
