It has a fractional sloop rig, a raked stem, a reverse transom, an internally-mounted spade-type rudder controlled by a wheel and a fixed winged keel. It displaces {{convert|13000|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} and carries {{convert|4800|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} of ballast.[1] The boat has a draft of {{convert|4.50|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the standard winged keel fitted.[1] The boat is fitted with a Japanese Yanmar 3GM diesel engine of {{convert|27|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}}.
