She is known for her landscape and genre paintings. She taught painting at the Pratt Institute. BiographyHaskell was born in 1861[1] in California.[2] She studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Art Students League of New York, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the Academie Julian in Paris.[1] After living in several locations in the United States she settled in New York to teach at the Pratt Institute.
