The concept design of this area is introducing Mahan Garden as a symbol of Persian Gardens. This large void has an 8500-sqm roof which is covered by ETFE foil for the first time in Iran. ETFE foil paneling consists of pneumatic cushions consisting of between two and five layers of a modified copolymer Ethylene Tetra Fluoro Ethylene. The ETFE foil is extruded into thin films and supported in an aluminum perimeter extrusion [4].
