It was described by Meyrick in 1929. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Texas.[1][2] The wingspan is 13–15 mm. The forewings are light grey, sometimes slightly tinged ochreous and with a faint line of whitish scales indicated on the fold. The plical and first discal stigmata are fuscous, somewhat elongate, the plical obliquely anterior, the second discal dot-like and black. There is a fine very oblique white striga from the costa about four-fifths, and a faint one from the tornus opposite. The hindwings are grey.[3] References1. ^funet.fi {{Taxonbar|from=Q13371115}}{{Anomologinae-stub}}2. ^mothphotographersgroup 3. ^[https://archive.org/stream/exoticmicrolepid03meyr#page/481/mode/1up Exot.
