He previously worked at The John W. Kluge Center at the Library of Congress.[2] Early lifeSteinhauer received his B.A. from The George Washington University[3] and a degree from New York University.[4] CareerSteinhauer was assistant curator at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, where he worked on the exhibit Ours to Fight For: American Jews in the Second World War.[5] The exhibit was awarded the American Alliance of Museums' Grand Prize for Excellence in Exhibitions in 2004.[6] Steinhauer worked at the Library of Congress Veterans History Project, the nation's largest oral history project.[7] Steinhauer managed communications and programs for the John W.
