Jayammu Nischayammu Raa (English: Victory is Certain) is 1989 Telugu comedy film produced by G. V. H. Prasad under the Sudarshana Pictures banner, presented by Satyanarayana and Kota Srinivasa Rao[2] and directed by Jandhyala.[3] It stars Rajendra Prasad, Sumalatha and Chandra Mohan in the lead roles,[4] with music composed by Raj-Koti.[5] The film's title is a famous song from the Telugu film Sabhash Ramudu (1959). The film marked the debut of famous comedian Dharmavarapu Subramanyam in the film industry. The film was recorded as a Super Hit at the box office.[6] The film was remade in Tamil as Killadi Mappillai (1994).

Plot

Rambabu (Rajendra Prasad) & Suribabu (Chandra Mohan) are close friends, they live as tenants in the house of Gopalam (Brahmanandam), a person who harasses people by playing various musical instruments and his Kantham (Srilakshmi) hugs each and everyone who remembers their expired son Chitti. Rambabu & Suribabu's performs love marriages. Once Rambabu gets the acquaintance of a beautiful girl, Shanti (Sumalatha) and falls for her. Simultaneously, Suribabu loves a girl called Seeta (Avanthi), who has many family problems, Suribabu goes on resolving it, a never-ending process. Meanwhile, Shanti's leaves for her village, Rambabu & Suribabu search a lot with no use, they too go back to their respected hometowns. Suribabu's father Patil (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a movie lover whose life ambition is to make a movie and he tortures public by telling film stories. Meanwhile, Rambabu's father Ranganatham (Dharmavarapu Subramanyam) seeks an alliance for him, the bride is his close friend Jaganatham's (Suthi Velu) daughter, who is Shanti. Since Rambabu does not know the reality, he refuses the match. Surprisingly, Suribabu finds Shanti as his neighbor and informs Rambabu. Knowing it, Rambabu moves, when his father keeps a condition that within 3 months he should succeed in his love affair, otherwise he has to marry the girl seen by him. Rambabu reaches Suribabu's village, proposes to Shanti, but she refuses because her belief is that love is an abomination and she wants to marry the guy seen by her parents. So, Rambabu decides to impress her parents and enquires when he learns that Shanti's father Jaganatham is an erratic person who is atheist whereas, his wife Subbalakshmi (Radha Kumari) is a strong believer of God and also that Jaganatham must like the bridegroom's parents rather than the boy. Rambabu impresses them in both ways, introduces Gopalam & Kantham reach as his parents and enters their house. Here Rambabu challenges with Shanti that he will marry her with her parents' permission, then Shanti says, she will bring out his reality and throw him out, on a condition that no one reveal this secret. After a few comic incidents, disputes arise between Jaganatham & Ranganatham and they cancel the match. Now Jaganatham decides to make Shanti's marriage with Rambabu, for which he keeps few tests, with the help of a guy, Chakrapani (Ashok Kumar), when Shanti understands his virtue and starts loving him. In the final test, he tells Rambabu that he is going to make Shanti's marriage with Chakrapani and Rambabu happily accepts it. Chakrapani's father Narayana (Satyanarayana), a fraud and cheater, misuses the situation and prints the wedding cards in the name of Chakrapani & Shanti. To get rid of this trouble, Jaganatham takes Rambabu's help, in which, Jaganatham knows Rambabu is Ranganatham's son and they all unite. At last, Rambabu teaches a lesson to Narayana. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Rambabu & Shanti.
