The Honourable Mr Justice Jeremy Poon Shiu-chor ({{lang|zh|潘兆初}}) is a Hong Kong judge. He currently serves as a Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal of the High Court of Hong Kong. BiographyEarly life & educationPoon was born in Hong Kong in 1962. He obtained LL.B and P.C.LL from the University of Hong Kong in 1985 and 1986 respectively. He earned an LL.M from the University College London in the United Kingdom in the following year[1]. Legal careerHe was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 1986 and was in private practice between 1988 and 1993. In 1993, Poon joined the bench as Magistrate. He was then appointed as Deputy Registrar, High Court in 1999 and as Judge of the the Court of First Instance of the High Court in 2006[2]. He was made Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal in 2015.
