Yang Zhi ({{lang-zh|s=杨治}} b. 1977), who writes under the pen name Jiang Nan ({{lang-zh|s=江南}}), is a Chinese fantasy writer and novelist. He serves as CEO for Beijing Smart Dragon cultural development Co, Ltd.

Early life

Yang Zhi was born on 13 July 1977 in Shucheng County in Lu'an, Anhui.[1] He studied Chemistry at Peking University. At Washington University in St Louis he studied under Michael L. Gross.[2]

His first novel was There They Were ({{zh|c=此间的少年}}). He is one of the most popular writers with teenagers in China.

His best known works are the Novoland: Eagle Flag (九州缥缈录) and Dragon tale （《龙文》杂志）or Dragon Raja (龙族) series of books.
