Their Bon-gwan was in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province. According to the research in 2015, the number of Jinju So clan was 50357. So clan was born when Zhurong planted a Hibiscus syriacus ({{hanja|蘇}}) in the capital of China in 4241 B.C. {{ill|So Baek son|ko|소백손}}, a 130th descendant, built Jinhan confederacy. After that, {{ill|So Gyeong|ja|蘇慶}}, a 29th descendant of {{ill|So Baek son|ko|소백손}}, began Jinju So clan when he served as a government official in Goryeo.[1] See also
