}} John Edward Deane Browne, 5th Baron Kilmaine (18 March, 1878-27 August, 1946) was Representative peer for Ireland. He married Lady Aline Kennedy, daughter of Archibald Kennedy, 3rd Marquess of Ailsa. He was the only son and heir of Francis William Browne, 4th Baron Kilmaine. Following his death in 1946, his title passed to his eldest son John Francis Archibald Browne, 6th Baron Kilmaine.[1][2] John Edward Deane is notable for selling the family estates in Ireland, including Gaulstown House.
