}}John Findlay, also known as Jack Findlay or Jock Findlay, was a Scottish professional football right half who played in the Scottish Football League for Vale of Leven and Airdrieonians.[1] He also appeared in the Football League for Newcastle United.[2]

Personal life

Findlay served as a private in the Scots Guards during the First World War and was killed in France on 25 September 1916.[3] He was buried in Bienvillers Military Cemetery.[4]
