{{orphan|date=March 2019}}John Norman Lavis is a Canadian physician who serves as the director of the World Health Organization's Collaborating Centre for Evidence-Informed Policy and the director of McMaster University's Health Forum, where he also serves as a professor in the Department of Health Evidence and Impact.^[1]^[2] He chairs the Advisory Committee on Health Research to the Pan American Health Organization.^[3]
