He is a national political correspondent for The New York Times, and the co-author of a book. Early lifeJonathan Martin was born around 1977 in Arlington, Virginia.[1][2] He graduated from Hampden–Sydney College,[2] where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in History.[1] CareerMartin worked as a political reporter for [https://www.nytimes.com/by/jonathan-martin National Journal's] "The Hotline," the National Review and Politico.[2][3] In 2013, he joined The New York Times, where he became a national political correspondent. With Glenn Thrush, Martin co-authored a book about the 2012 United States presidential election.[3] In a review for Chicago magazine, Carol Felsenthal noted that it was "full of insider intelligence."[4] Personal lifeMartin married Elizabeth Fischer in 2012.[2] Works
