Judereglementet was a Swedish statute from 1782 which stated that immigrant Jews were allowed to get Swedish citizenship without converting to Christianity. The statute also stated that Jews were allowed to live in three cities, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Norrköping, where they were also allowed to build synagogues. However, the Jews were only allowed to marry other Jews and they were not allowed to become members of parliament and not allowed to try to convince non-Jews to become Jews.
