}}& Juliet is an upcoming musical featuring the music of Max Martin, with a book by David West Read. The story focuses on the "what if" Juliet hadn't killed herself at the end of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Productions The world premiere production will play at the Manchester Opera House from 10 September to 12 October.[1] It will then open in the West End at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 20 November 2019, following previews from 2 November.[2] The cast will include Miriam-Teak Lee as Juliet, and will be directed by Luke Sheppard, with choreography by Jennifer Weber and set design by Soutra Gilmour.[1] Joining her in the cast will be Oliver Tompsett and Cassidy Janson as Mr and Mrs. Shakespeare, Melanie La Barrie as Nurse.[3] Cast and characters | Character | Manchester / West End | | Juliet | Miriam-Teak Lee |
