McKay is the interim head coach of the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights baseball team. Playing careerMcKay attended Shaker High School in Latham, New York.[2] McKay then enrolled at the Briarcliffe College, to play college baseball for the Briarcliffe Seahawks baseball team. In the 2008 season as a junior, McKay transferred to Queens College, City University of New York. McKay won the starting centerfield job for the Knights. He scored 11 runs, while hitting .270 with a .354 on-base percentage (OBP) and 11 RBIs.[3] McKay then enrolled at the Briarcliffe College, to play college baseball for the Briarcliffe Seahawks baseball team. McKay then injured himself before the next season began, ending his career.[4] Coaching careerMcKay returned to Briarcliffe College to assist his former head coach Gary Puccio.
