It is located on the Queiq Plain, {{convert|10|km|mi}} northeast of Azaz, {{cvt|45|km|mi}} north of the city of Aleppo, and {{cvt|3|km|mi}} south of the border to the Turkish province of Kilis. The village administratively belongs to Nahiya Sawran in Azaz District. Nearby localities include Nayarah {{cvt|4|km|mi}} to the southwest and Shamarikh {{cvt|3|km|mi}} to the northwest.
