词条 | Kamloops' Chinese Cemetery |
释义 |
The cemetery was created as the town's cemeteries would not accept Asians for burial.[2] While the cemetery is still open, the Chinatown in Kamloops it served has disappeared, so it is the only reminder of the existence of Chinese in town.[1] Other than the gazebo and newer commemorative plaques, the grave markers are made of wood.
