Personal life

In 2013, rumors of Fu dating Triumph in the Skies II costar Ron Ng ignited a lot of media attention. Both Fu and Ng denied the legitimacy of these claims and have said that they are just friends.[2] Shortly afterward, it was reported by Oriental Sunday that Fu had actually been dating Charles Kotewall, son of wealthy and prominent barrister and owner of a private law firm in Central, Robert George Kotewall, for six months.[3]

In 2016, rumors circulated that Fu was dating multiple rich, married men at the same time. She has adamantly refuted such claims and has said that she is very focused on the many projects that TVB is providing her with.[4] Because of such rumors, it was rumored that TVB had postponed May Fortune Smile On You from a 2016 release date to a 2017 release date, while the drama itself was filmed in 2015. Some reports went further to say that TVB had stopped all productions with Fu. However, on April 23, 2017, Fu refuted all these claims as nothing more than just rumors and that she was about to start filming a new drama called, The Stunt.[5]
