In 2012 he became Paralympic champion in the +100kg by beating Song Wang (China) in the final. The 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio is his second Games. In the +100kg, he won his second medal in the form of a bronze. That occurred after he had suffered his first-ever defeat in a Paralympic match in the semi-final to Adiljan Tuledibaev (Uzbekistan) who went on to win the gold medal, and Masaki ultimately won the bronze-medal match.[1] References1. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.rio2016.com/en/paralympics/athlete/kento-masaki |title=MASAKI Kento |publisher= |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20160922202103/https://www.rio2016.com/en/paralympics/athlete/kento-masaki |archivedate=2016-09-22 |df= }} {{DEFAULTSORT:Masaki, Kento}}{{Japan-sport-bio-stub}}{{Japan-Paralympic-medalist-stub}} 8 : Paralympic judoka of Japan|Judoka at the 2012 Summer Paralympics|Judoka at the 2016 Summer Paralympics|Paralympic gold medalists for Japan|Paralympic bronze medalists for Japan|Living people|1987 births|Japanese male judoka |
