HistoryThe company was founded in Vancouver by Clayton Brown[1][2] and Jason Crabb in 2012.[3] Over the next few years, its service was expanded to other cities including Toronto, Seattle, Austin, New York City, San Francisco, as well as London, England and Paris, France. It has about 400 service locations in total.[4] ServiceKeycafe distributes cloud-connected key-exchange boxes where users share their property, vehicle, or other keys. Keys are placed in the Keycafe box at a location such as a local coffee shop, where guests can then access the keys.
