Khalid Ahmad Kharal (1938 – 27 August 2017) was a Pakistani politician. Kharal was born in 1938 and raised in Kamalia.[1] He became active in local government in 1963 and served Larkana as deputy commissioner and commissioner. Kharal was later appointed commissioner of Punjab. In 1977, he joined the Pakistan Peoples Party. Soon after Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq declared martial law, Kharal was jailed. Upon his release, Kharal left Pakistan for an advisory position in Abu Dhabi. Kharal spent fifteen years in there, and was later elected to the National Assembly. Upon losing reelection in 1988, Benazir Bhutto named Kharal federal cabinet division minister and served until 1990.
