Compared with other areas of Sindh , Khanpur Mahar along with other areas of Ghotki district have comparatively more population of Muslims. Here major Crops are Rice,Sugarcane and Cotton. The city Khanpur Mahar have Government Boys Higher Secondary School & Government Girls Higher Secondary School.It have also more than 10 ten Private Schools Mainly are Higher & Secondary Faculties Available. It has three Oil pumps, where Petrol,Diesel and CNG service is open 24 hours.
