He returned to Glasgow Warriors.[1] and was drafted to Glasgow Hawks in the Scottish Premiership for the 2017-18 season.[5] McDonald has been drafted to Currie in the Scottish Premiership for the 2018-19 season.[6] Professional careerMcDonald played for Glasgow Warriors against Canada 'A' on 30 August 2016 in a 63 - 0 win for the Warriors at Bridgehaugh Park, Stirling.[7] He re-joined with the Warriors on 5 May 2017 for the 2017-18 season.[2] He made his competitive debut for the Warriors away against the Ospreys in the Pro14 on 26 November 2017. He started the match which ended in a 7 try demolition of the Welsh side.[8] Outside of rugbyIn 2012, as an RAF Cadet, McDonald Seran won the Kriegie Trophy. The trophy is awarded to the Cadet who, in the opinion of the officers, is the best of the Air Cadets to attend the course in that particular year.
