Kotranka is the home of 264 families which further extends to 1434 people, of which 766 are males and 668 are female. [4] The distance between Rajouri and Kotranks is 53.7 km and 12 km from Budal tehsil to Kotranka. [5] Its headquarters are located in Rajouri and sub-divisions in Budal.
