Geography
Kylemore Lough measures about {{convert|2|km|1|abbr=on}} long and {{convert|1|km|1|abbr=on}} wide. It is located about {{convert|20|km|0|abbr=on}} northeast of Clifden, just east of Connemara National Park. Kylemore Abbey, a major area attraction, is located on the shore of neighbouring Pollacapall Lough.[2]
Natural history
Fish species in Kylemore Lough include salmon and brown trout.[6] Kylemore Lough is part of The Twelve Bens/Garraun Complex Special Area of Conservation.[7]
