This is a list of the land border crossings of Pakistan with its neighbours. AfghanistanRoadThere are eight official border crossings between Afghanistan and Pakistan.[1] - Nawa Pass, between Asadabad and Peshawar - Torkham, on the main road connecting Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkwa and Kabul - Tari Mangal, in the Kurram Valley on the road between Parachinar and Gardez - Alizai, in the lower Kurram Valley on the road to Khost - Ghulam Khan, on the road between Miramshah and Khost - Angur Ada, on the road between Wana and Ghazni - Chaman, on the road connecting Quetta, Balochistan and Kandahar. There are also numerous unofficial crossings used by local tribes, however the Pakistani government is trying to close these by construction of the Afghanistan–Pakistan barrier. RailThere are currently no rail crossings between Pakistan and Afghanistan. ChinaRoadThe only crossing to China is on the Karakoram Highway north of Sost at the Khunjerab Pass. RailThere are currently no rail crossings between Pakistan and China. IndiaRoad- Wagah / Attari, the only fully-fledged international road crossingThe borders at Ganda Singh Wala, Sulemanki and Longewala remain closed. Recently there have been discussions on opening the border at Kartarpur for pilgrams travelling from India to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur shrine.[3] There are also five crossings on the Line of Control in Kashmir, two of which are currently closed: - Chakothi / Salamabad located on the road between Chakothi and Uri. - Tatrinote / Chakan Da Bagh connects Kotli to the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. - Two further crossings are at Haji Pir pass and one near Tattapani, but these are currently not operational.[4] Rail- Wagah / Attari - The Samjhauta Express between Lahore and Amritsar/Delhi crosses here.- Munabao / Khokhrapar - The Thar Express between Karachi and Jodhpur crosses here. IranRoad- Taftan / Mirjaveh, on the road between Quetta and Zahedan.- Washap / Kuhak, on the road between Panjgur and Iranshahr. - Kurumb / Pishin, on the road between Turbat and Iranshahr. - Kuldan, on the road between Gwadar and Chabahar.
