The station would be built underground. The station itself is planned to be built on Bases Conversion and Development Authority property along the intersection of Chino Roces Avenue and Lawton Avenue in Brgy. Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.[1] The station is one of two stations to be built along Lawton Avenue, named after United States Army Major General Henry Ware Lawton, the highest ranking American officer killed in action during the Philippine-American War. Lawton West is planned to be the last station before the line splits in two, with the main line heading south towards FTI, while a branch line goes west to NAIA Terminal 3. The station is also planned to be connected to the PNR Nichols Station.
