There are 8 teams in the competition. Each annual season of play is divided into two splits, spring and summer, both consisting of seven weeks of round-robin tournament play, which then conclude with play-off tournaments between the top four teams. The winners of each split qualifies for the MSI and World Championship. Prize pool of the competition in 2016 and 2017 amounts ₽ 4,5 million per season.[1][2] Champions
