He made his O'Higgins debut on 31 January in a goalless draw against Deportes Iquique.[1] He returned to Atenas at the end of his loan spell, he scored 2 goals in 21 appearances in total for O'Higgins.[3] In February 2017, Sosa joined Uruguayan Primera División side Racing.[1][4] Career statisticsClub{{updated|30 April 2017}}.[1]
