It was established in 1977.[1] Collections include baskets, parfleches, corn husk bags, dolls, spoons, cradles, moccasins, tomahawks, pipes, pipe bags, dresses, a 15-foot birch bark canoe and a replica fur trade store. The foundation operating the museum also conducts classes in woodcarving and other native skills, and demonstrations of dance and basket weaving.[1][6] Lelooska, for whom the foundation is named, was a master carver of totem poles, one of which is displayed at the Christchurch International Airport in New Zealand, and another at the Oregon Zoo.[7] References1. ^1 2 3 4 {{cite web | title=Lelooska Foundation holds annual fundraiser | website=The Reflector | location=Battle Ground, Washington | date=2014-04-30 | url=http://www.thereflector.com/news/article_d09f80f4-cfdd-11e3-8ba3-0019bb2963f4.html | accessdate=2015-09-03}} [1][2][3]2. ^1 {{citation|title=Lelooska Foundation Living History performances|date=November 12, 2016|newspaper=The Daily News|location=Longview, Washington|url=http://tdn.com/lifestyles/lelooska-foundation-living-history-performances/article_79586d62-12fc-5108-8a07-6bef0a53164c.html}} 3. ^1 {{citation|title=Lelooska, Master Carver, Won Acclaim For His Totem Poles|date=September 7, 1996|newspaper=The Seattle Times|url=http://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=19960907&slug=2347842}} }} External links{{Portal|Indigenous peoples of North America|Washington}}
