Levi Elwin Pond (March 8, 1833 – May 8, 1895) was an American farmer and politician. Born in Addison, New York, Pond went to the public schools and to Union Academy in Tioga County, Pennsylvania. In 1856, Pond moved to the town of Springfield, Marquette County, Wisconsin and was a farmer. He served as Springfield town clerk, superintendent of schools, and justice of the peace. He lived in the town of Springfield until 1866. During the American Civil War, Pond was served in the 7th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment, as a captain, and was seriously wounded. From 1866 to 1876, Pond lived in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He then live in Westfield, Wisconsin in Marquette County, Wisconsin. From 1887 to 1891, Pond served in the Wisconsin State Senate and was a Republican. Pond was appointed pension agent by President Benjamin Harrison.
