He is the author of Upright Beasts (Coffee House Press 2015) and the co-editor of Gigantic Worlds (Gigantic Books 2015). He is co-founder and co-editor of Gigantic (magazine) and the former Editor-in-Chief of Electric Literature online.[1][2] He is known for his "genre-bending" stories[3] and has been called "one of the country’s most respected literary journalists."[4] He is a frequent contributor to Noon (Literary Annual) and has been published by The Paris Review, Granta, Tin House, and The Believer (magazine).
