It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.[1] The original or expansion was designed by British-born Denver-based architect John J. Huddart in Mission/spanish Revival style.[1][4] It has also been known as the School for the Performing Arts.[1] According to the School for the Performing Arts' webpage, the school was originally opened in 1909 and became open as the School for the Performing Arts on the 100th anniversary of the building.[4] The National Register listing was in "recognition of this property’s contribution to the heritage of the State of Colorado."[2] References1. ^1 2 3 {{NRISref|version=2013a}} {{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Colorado-NRHP-stub}}2. ^1 2 {{cite web|url=https://www.theschoolfortheperformingarts.org/about.htm |title=About}} 3. ^{{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=10000216}}|title=National Register of Historic Places Inventory/Nomination: Lincoln School / School for the Performing Arts; 5MR.892 |publisher=National Park Service|author= |date= |accessdate=}} With {{NRHP url|id=10000216|photos=y|title=accompanying pictures}} 4 : Schools in Colorado|National Register of Historic Places in Morgan County, Colorado|Mission Revival architecture in Colorado|Buildings and structures completed in 1920 |
