This is a list of private fee-paying secondary schools in the Republic of Ireland by province. In 2016, there were 51 fee-charging private second level schools in Ireland. In the academic year 2014/15, those 51 schools had 24,112 students enrolled.[1] Irish private schools are divided between ‘major’ or ‘minor’ in accordance with their establishment.
