This list is of the Historic Sites of Japan located within the Metropolis of Tōkyō.[1]

National Historic Sites

As of 1 September 2017, fifty-one Sites have been designated as being of national significance (including three *Special Historic Sites).[2][3]

Prefectural Historic Sites

As of 1 May 2016, three hundred and twenty-seven Sites have been designated as being of prefectural importance.[4]

Municipal Historic Sites

As of 1 May 2016, a further two hundred and ninety-four Sites have been designated as being of municipal importance.[5]
