The American animated series Mighty Magiswords features a diverse fictional cast created by Kyle A. Carrozza. The series is about Prohyas and Vambre (voiced by Kyle A. Carrozza and Grey Griffin), a clumsy and cute sibling team of "Warriors for Hire", who go on hilarious adventures and crazy quests around the world to find and collect magical swords known as "Magiswords".

Main

Prohyas Warrior

Voiced by Kyle A. Carrozza

Prohyas is Vambre's younger brother. In several episodes, he sometimes acts like a 9-year-old due to his clumsiness, to which Vambre referring him a younger brother or little brother and calling him baby brother. He can be just as impulsive as his sister, and will always do the right thing. Compared to his older sister, Prohyas is sometimes depicted as the kinder or more emotionally intelligent sibling. Prohyas's favorite animals are dolphins and that's why he loves the Dolphin Magisword. He also can play the accordion, based on the fact that his voice actor is an accordionist and musician himself. It is revealed in one Mighty Magisword Vlog entry that his mother, Kablammica Warrior, gave him his very first Magisword, the Dolphin Magisword, when he was still young. During their adventures, Prohyas often says puns based on the context of their current situation, something Vambre can't stand (mostly because she's not the one making the puns), and often results her shooting him with the Tomato Magisword. After the events of "The Mystery of Loch Mess", he and his sister became the official go-to adventurers for royal Rhyboflaven missions for Princess Zange. The character is named after Spy vs. Spy creator Antonio Prohias, to the point where his name was actually spelled as such in the original concept and pitches since 1999. His stomach (voiced by Luke Ski in his first appearance impersonating and later voiced by Gilbert Gottfried in later appearances) has a mind of its own and occasionally takes control of him. He is a huge fan of Broccoli Punch and has his merchandise as well.

Vambre Marie Warrior

Voiced by Grey Griffin

Vambre is Prohyas' older sister. In several episodes, she acts like a 15-year-old towards Prohyas, such as by threatening, mocking and yelling at him, while Prohyas refers to her as Big Sister or Older Sister. She is impulsive, compassionate and brave, but tends to think more logically and is less naive than her younger brother. Compared to Prohyas, Vambre is often depicted as a no-nonsense person and less emotionally intelligent, despite her cuteness and beauty. She has a zero tolerance for pants (due to their discomfort) and instead wears a blue leotard. Unlike her brother, Vambre speaks with a British accent, which Prohyas has mocked on at least one occasion. She is completely obsessed with the Veronica Victorious series of books, which she was introduced to when she was young by an old lady with a British accent, which is also how she got her accent. It was revealed in one Mighty Magisword Vlog entry that her original magisword is the Tomato Magisword, which was given to her by her mother, Kablammica Warrior, when she was young. Vambre hates it when Prohyas uses puns (mostly because she didn't get to say them first), and will often shoot him with her Tomato Magisword whenever he says them. After the events of "The Mystery of Loch Mess", Vambre and her brother became the official go-to adventurers for royal Rhyboflavin missions for Princess Zange. In "Squirrelled Domination" it is revealed that she has a fear of squirrels since childhood which turned into a hatred in "Working For Scales". Her brain (voiced by Candi Milo) has a mind of its own and occasionally gives her advice or tries to take over her body. Vambre was heavily based on Lina Inverse from the light novel, manga and anime series Slayers.

Grup the Dragon

Voiced by Kyle A. Carrozza

Grup is a small dragon who enjoys sandwiches and cooking. After being vanquished by the Warriors for Hire, and subsequently having his home taken over by the Mysterious Hooded Woman, he now lives with the Warriors. His wings are so small and weak that he tends to fall down on them. He also works as an employee at the Cave of Stuff. With the help from the Warriors, he won a talent contest and became the official royal entertainer of Rhyboflavin but was fired by Princess Zange shortly after she sees how terrible he is and was replaced by The Mysterious Hooded Woman.

Recurring

Princess Zange

Voiced by Grey Griffin

Princess Zange is the princess of Rhyboflaven who often hires the Warriors on missions to get paid and earn Magiswords. Despite her valley girl personality, she is quite intelligent as she is aware of the existence of Magiswords. She has also her own personal magisword called the Auto Style Magisword.

Witchy Simone

Voiced by series' character designer Lindsay Smith-Carrozza

A hyperactive, over-zealous and odd-tempered witch girl with a New Jersey-esque accent. She can be a loose cannon at times, and often has difficulty controlling her magic powers, causing disasters to occur. She works full-time as a cashier and manager at a fast-food restaurant called Slugburger. Her goal is to be re-admitted to Adventure Academy in order to graduate and become a full-time Adventurer for Hire and quit her job at Slugburger. Prohyas has a habit of saying, "heyyy squirt!", to which she usually shouts, "THAT'S NOT MY NAME!!!" and unleashes her magic. She has been shown to deliver left-over food from Slugburger to Prohyas for free. She is later promoted to manager of Slugburger by Mr. Spoony in witch she hires warriors for hire to help. She also has a pet cat named Mascott (voiced by Candi Milo) who is known for having guilty eyes. She envies her younger sister Witchy Sparkles (voiced by Haley Mancini), who is very successful and famous and won numerous awards. She also gets the Golden Broomstick Magisword award from her sister Witchy Sparkles as a sign of thanks and gratitude for helping her get it back from Phil the Pilferer, who stole it earlier.

Witchy Simone has pink skin and purple hair with a white streak. She wears a yellow witch outfit* and blue jacket, jeans and boots as well as orange-blue gloves and a yellow witch hat bent at the peak. She claims to be the same age as Prohyas and Vambre, but is noticeably shorter than both of them.

The Mysterious Hooded Woman

Voiced by Grey Griffin

A mysterious woman known for wearing a purple robe with a hood who sends the Warriors on missions. Despite her mysteriousness, she enjoys partying and raves. She became the new royal entertainer of Rhyboflaven because she came in second place in the talent contest and Princess Zange fired Grup (the winner) for his terrible singing and awful song.

Old Man Oldman

Voiced by Kyle A. Carrozza

Old Man Oldman is an elderly, diminutive man who often hires the Warriors for Hire to do manual labor and chores for him, much to the Warriors' chagrin. He is also an insomniac. His talent is training squirrels on doing various tricks and skills. After the events of "Bad Man Oldman", he apologizes to the Warriors for hiring them to do his chores and decides to hire them to fight monsters and accomplish quests instead when he has one for them. He then hires Witch Way instead to do his housework and chores from now on which they gladly accept.

Ralphio Sabreware

Voiced by series' head writer, Mr. Lawrence

Ralphio is the owner of Ralphio's House of Swords, a shop at Mount Ma'al, where he can usually be seen selling Magiswords to the Warriors. He has a habit of conning the Warriors (mostly Prohyas) by charging extra for Magiswords, attempting to upsell them with lame Magiswords and selling them fake maps. He has also been seen stealing candy from babies, and then lying to them about saving their lives, thereby conning the babies, as well. Ralphio also has a pet slime named Wobbles (voiced by Kyle Carrozza) given to him by Prohyas, who helps him in the shop.

Noville

He delivers the new Veronica Victorious issues to Vambre and Gateaux. He also has regular training sessions with Vambre on how to use his Swish Navy Magisword. As of "Elect to Decline", he finally mastered his Swish Navy Magisword and got a new one called the Sunface Magisword. At this point, Noville is capable of accompanying the Warriors on missions if they need his assistance.

Omnibus

Voiced by Hal Lublin

Often referring to himself as "The Great Omnibus the Accumulator", Omnibus is an eccentric sorcerer and frequent customer of Warriors for Hire who can be quite boisterous and annoying, and is often ignored or openly disrespected by the Warriors. Despite their blatant dislike of Omnibus' annoying tendencies, however, the Warriors usually take the jobs he offers them, perhaps because he is one of their highest-paying customers. Omnibus lives in a large, spacious mansion filled with rare artifacts and collectibles, some of which were obtained for him by the Warriors (which is usually their mission whenever Omnibus hires them). On one occasion, Omnibus purchased duplicates of all his possessions, purely to relive the thrill he felt when he first got them. Out of these items, he claims his most prized possession is a statue of Jest-O the Best-O (voiced by Doug Lawrence). Omnibus has the ability to teleport, and can safely detach his body parts, though he often has trouble keeping his head in place. He once claimed he could turn people into toads, which he threatened to do to the Warriors if anything in his home was out of place or damaged when they were house-sitting for him. However, Omnibus did not actually demonstrate this particular ability, so it remains to be seen if he can really do it, or if he was merely bluffing.

Füd

Voiced by Grey Griffin

A rare-food enthusiast who hires the Warriors to retrieve items that are in relation to food, hence the name. Füd is always shown with a red-apple on her head and speaks with a soft Southern drawl. She can bake 100 pies in 100 seconds (1 min, 40 sec). She also has a boyfriend named Snax (voiced by Jack McBrayer) who shares the same interest as her. Snax and Füd also run a popular podcast called "Füd Fit" which involves two contestants battling each other using food products as weapons, with included commentary by them.

Mr. Spoony

Voiced by Kyle Massey impersonating James Brown

Witchy Simone's hard-headed superior at Slug Burger who makes sure that Simone follows the rules and obeys the motto that "The customer is always right". He became reluctant to help her due to promoting her as manager. After seeing the Warrior's skills with their magiswords which improved work productivity, he gives Simone a raise and purchase his own magiswords from Ralphio so he could use them too to help him with his work at Slug-Burger. He also has a habit of singing when he's overly excited. His mannerisms and speaking patterns are based on famous late singer James Brown.

Buford

Voiced by Jim Cummings

The owner of the Rhyboflavin Bazaar who speaks with a Southern accent. He often has a habit of losing his contact lenses. He often has rivalries with Docky Boardman.

Often bumps into people and says "Pardon!"

Kablammica and Norman Warrior

Despite this, she hasn't lost her touch and can still use Magiswords at ease. She also has a peg leg, speaks with a Southern accent and was the one who gave the Warriors their first Magiswords; Dolphin and Tomato. Kablammica is also known for making broccoli soup which the Warriors dislike but Hoppus and Norman love. Norman is very overprotective with his children and relents them on letting them use their Magiswords when they do chores around the house. At present time, while he's happy for their careers as Warriors, he prefers to rather have them help him around the broccoli farms. Despite his scrawny physique, he has massive strength as he was able to lift Kablammica and kiss her. Even with that, he still lacks the knowledge of Magiswords and is easily scared when he knew he had to duel Hoppus with Magiswords. In the season finale, Kablammica was hailed as the Savior of the Kingdom which was shown there is a statue of her at the Adventure Academy.

He has a habit of eating other people's food and sleeping due to his bear natural instincts. He also has a problem remembering peoples' names which led to his dethronement from the Cave of Stuff. He's also willing to have romantic interests with inanimate objects such as boulders and rocks. As his name implies, his main weapon of choice is the "Super Impressive Mallet of Heroism" which is very versatile in manifesting items such as a sand cube. His mannerisms are based on The Tick, also voiced by Coleman, which is the primary reason why he was booked for the show.

Papa Kotassian

Voiced by "Weird Al" Yankovic

The chief of the Kotassians who hires the Warriors to save their village. His ruler is Lord Grant Heist Skullblood III, who is a blueberry muffin. Papa Kotassian has an ill-temper and sinister sense of humor as he got ballistic knowing his king was eaten by Vambre and wanted the Warriors to attack the Trollblins more for his amusement rather than to save the village. His role is similar to Papa Smurf from The Smurfs.

Reginald Lavishum

Voiced by Kyle A. Carrozza

Teri further states she wanted to set a good example for her children, and she lets the Warriors have the Magisword. Most of her children are adults now, and include Bobbipher (voiced by Fred Stoller), Traci, and Logan (both voiced by Brian Posehn). Logan works as a janitor at a corporation owned by Thaddeus Thirdwell III (also voiced by Holmes) in Galacton.

Gateaux is a fan of the Veronica Victorious series and Broccoli Punch and frequently writes bad fanfiction, as well as creating an original character for both series named Xateaug, who supposedly assists the main characters. Despite Morbidia's objections, he truly cares for her and is not afraid to show her affection by hugging her. He also has a strict diet with occasional monthly cheat days. Despite his obsession with fish life, his underwater-based powers and his inability to breathe oxygen, he has a very human-like face and appearance and appears to wear a green fish costume. He has a "thrilling backstory" that details it but the characters have no interest in hearing it. Man Fish was based on a character Kyle created in 1992 for Nintendo Power's then-contest for Robot Masters for the game Mega Man 6.

Pirates

Various voices.

The pirates are notorious bandits that reside in Keelhaul Cove. Their reason for piracy is due to lack of education and high unemployment. They often cross paths with the Warriors whenever they arrive in Keelhaul Cove. Their main hangout is the Wobblin Gobblin, a boot-shaped bar where they enjoy root beers and performances by their friend Sailor Sidney. The most recurring pirates are Plunderbite (voiced by Kyle A. Carrozza), Punchica (voiced by Hal Lublin), Kickica (voiced by Lindsay Smith-Carrozza), Crunch Dislikus (voiced by Lublin), Scritchies O'Stitches (originally voiced by Grey Griffin, later voiced by Smith-Carrozza), Dwight (voiced by Eric Bauza), Numbuh 9 (voiced by Luke Ski) and an unnamed fish pirate (voiced by Dana Gould).

Long James Pirate Mayor

Voiced by Phil LaMarr

The mayor of Keelhaul Cove whom, unlike the citizens, is very friendly and generous. He informed of the Warriors' of his citizens' pirating natures but was also very cooperative in staying on good terms with Princess Zange, such as offering gems for any collateral damage caused by his citizens. He has a habit of saying "Pirate Mayor" at the end of each sentence.

Sailor Sidney

Voiced by Phil LaMarr

The main entertainer and close friend to the pirates who often takes the abuse and mockery from his comrades, and often engages in performing showtunes for them which cheers them up.

Queen Bumblia

Voiced by Haley Mancini

The queen of the Zombees who overthrew Frostferatu, took over his cave and hypnotized Neddy to obey her bidding. She planned to take over the world until the Warriors broke her microphone-like cane, causing her minions to lose direction.

Adventure Academy characters

Professor Cyrus and Frank Paul

Voiced by Rob Paulsen (Cyrus) and Kyle A. Carrozza (Frank Paul)

A teacher at Adventure Academy who taught the Warriors for Hire, Witch Way, Fibby, Familiar, Bimm, Neddy and Cattus when they were enrolled. He often lectures the kids with film videos and demonstrations presented at the Pericardium Pirouette. He is strictly against Magiswords used in class their uses are not presented in the curriculum in which he confiscates them and summons the drawer Bunky Bunkington III to hold them. He always ends up telling the Warriors at the end of each short "You got the learn the RULES before you break em'". Serving alongside is Frank Paul, his pet chic-kicken who sits on his head and copies, in his bird tongue, the last word he says. He also literally counts the days until his retirement.

Fibby Croax

Voiced by Arin Hanson

An enthusiastic frog who was a former student of Adventure Academy. His attire, laid-back surfer voice and attitude is reminiscent of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and he carries around a huge shield, which he has no idea what it does. His reason for enrollment is to add more danger to his extreme life. His name is a pun on the fact that he's an amphibian and a frog. Whenever someone mentions his name, he shouts "I'm Fibby!".

Cattus the One Blade

Voiced by Luke Ski

A wise and notable cat who wields a huge sword and is a former student of Adventure Academy. His reason for enrollment is to dedicate his decision of helping others. His singing often soothes the savage beast. To his present day, he sports a carefree, happy go lucky attitude enjoying life's wonder and surprises. As his name implants, he only carries one Magisword, which is the Whirlwind Magisword which can be versatile to many degrees.

Catty Rumpus

Catty Rumpus is the adventuring duo consisting of the twin cat sibling magicians, Familiar and Bimm, whom were former adventurers of Adventure Academy. Their primary reason for enrollment, among other things, is because of their family's history in adventuring.

Familiar

Voiced by Rider Strong

Familiar is a cat sorcerer and the most stoic of the duo whom sees the statistics and logics of the quests, regardless of his frantic attributes. Familiar's reason for enrollment is to achieve a good skill other than just being agile. Similar to Skullivan, Familiar is very pessimistic easily seeing the down-side of things, as well as being very snarky and sarcastic at times. He also does frequent odd-jobs in his spare-time such as being a mascot for the Piggy Pie Jones concert.

Bimm

Voiced by Kate Micucci

Bimm is the cat witch who speaks in a soft-spoken tone and the most cowardice of the duo and wishes to not do adventurous and dangerous actions. Bimm's reason for enrollment is because she has no idea what to do with her life. Bimm, being a cat, also has a fear of water.
