}}Lithocarpus brochidodromus is a tree in the beech family Fagaceae. The specific epithet {{lang|la|brochidodromus}} is from the Latin meaning "loop-veined", referring to the leaves.[2]DescriptionLithocarpus brochidodromus grows as a tree up to {{convert|30|m|-1}} tall with a trunk diameter of up to {{convert|55|cm|-1|abbr=on}}. The flaky bark is greyish or brownish. Its coriaceous leaves measure up to {{convert|32|cm|0|abbr=on}} long. The flowers are solitary on the rachis.
