}}Lithocarpus hatusimae is a tree in the beech family Fagaceae. It is named for the Japanese botanist Sumihiko Hatusima.[2]DescriptionLithocarpus hatusimae grows as a tree up to {{convert|20|m|-1}} tall with a trunk diameter of up to {{convert|35|cm|-1|abbr=on}}. The greyish brown bark is smooth or fissured. Its coriaceous leaves measure up to {{convert|18|cm|0|abbr=on}} long.
