}}Lithocarpus mariae is a tree in the beech family Fagaceae. It is named for the Dutch botanical biographer Maria Johanna van Steenis-Kruseman.[2]DescriptionLithocarpus mariae grows as a tree up to {{convert|35|m|-1}} tall with a trunk diameter of up to {{convert|60|cm|0|abbr=on}} and buttresses measuring up to {{convert|0.7|m|ft|0}} high. The greyish bark is smooth and lenticellate. Its coriaceous leaves measure up to {{convert|13|cm|0|abbr=on}} long. The flowers are solitary along the rachis.
