The album was recorded in the Spotify headquarters, London, in 14 November 2016. The album was surprise-released exclusively through the streaming service Spotify on 16 December 2016.[1][2] BackgroundThe band was named as the most streamed band by Spotify in 2016, The band had gained more than five billion streams on its platform, while their seventh studio album, A Head Full Of Dreams (2015), gained for over one billion streams.
