He started three games for the Toronto Argonauts in 2016. Early life and educationKilgore attended Jesuit High School and went to Bakersfield College upon graduation. He transferred to Middle Tennessee State University after being recruited by scouts from the university. Kilgore graduated from MTSU with a MBA in 2013.[1] CareerCollege careerKilgore started his college football career for the Bakersfield Renegades in 2009. At Bakersfield, he threw for 2,512 yards and 22 touchdowns. Following his move to Middle Tennessee in 2010, he began playing for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders football team.[2] During his time with the Blue Raiders from 2010 to 2013, Kilgore threw for 7,489 yards and 53 touchdowns. He was also the first Blue Raider to have three consecutive seasons of 2,000 yards.[3] Professional careerKilgore was signed to the New Orleans Saints as a free agent in 2014. He played at the Saints's training camp and was cut from the team in September 2014.[4] After leaving the Saints, Kilgore played on the Toronto Argonauts's practice team in 2015.
