释义 |
Harford was born in Fiji and her family emigrated to New Zealand when she was five years old.[2] She has played for and captained the Fijian national women's cricket team, and played for club teams in Wellington and Auckland as well as for the New Zealand national women's team.[1][3][4] From 1985 to 1987 she played for the New Zealand national women's indoor cricket team.[5] In 2011 Harford suffered a stroke, which left her paralysed on one side of her body. She took up cycling to regain movement and began competing in road chair races.[3] In 2013, Cricket Fiji invited Harford to serve as Ambassador for the Women’s Island Cricket Project.[2] References1. ^1 {{Cite web|url=http://www.espncricinfo.com/newzealand/content/player/54296.html|title=Losi Harford|website=Cricinfo|access-date=2018-02-11}} {{Authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Harford, Losi}}2. ^1 {{Cite web|url=http://www.cricketfiji.com.fj/index.php/news/131-cf-names-island-cricket-ambassador|title=CF names WICP Ambassador - Cricket Fiji|last=Macintosh|first=Laura|website=www.cricketfiji.com.fj|language=en-GB|access-date=2018-02-11}} 3. ^1 {{Cite web|url=http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/sport/70789772/paralympic-hopeful-has-custom-bike-stolen|title=Paralympic hopeful has custom bike stolen|website=Stuff|language=en|access-date=2018-02-11}} 4. ^{{Cite news|url=http://www.nzherald.co.nz/aucklander/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=1503376&objectid=11047134|title=Fundraiser for top Auckland cricketer Losi Harford|work=NZ Herald|access-date=2018-02-11|language=en-NZ|issn=1170-0777}} 5. ^{{Cite web|url=http://www.cricketfiji.com.fj/index.php/news/131-cf-names-island-cricket-ambassador|title=CF names WICP Ambassador - Cricket Fiji|last=Macintosh|first=Laura|website=www.cricketfiji.com.fj|language=en-GB|access-date=2018-02-11}} 5 : Living people|1973 births|Fijian emigrants to New Zealand|New Zealand women cricketers|Fijian cricketers |
